  1. 01 — Could you log into your hosting, database, and domain accounts right now, from a fresh browser?

  2. 02 — Do you know for a fact that backups exist for both your database and uploaded files?

  3. 03 — Has anyone ever actually performed a restore from one of those backups?

  4. 04 — Are you confident no secret keys are readable in your app's public code?

  5. 05 — Do hosting, database, and payment accounts all have two-factor authentication?

  6. 06 — Would something alert you within minutes if your app went down at 3 a.m.?

  7. 07 — Does someone look at your app's error logs at least weekly?

  8. 08 — Have dependencies been updated (and the app re-tested) in the last three months?
